On this page
The best backlink indexing tools in 2026 fall into two groups. Google's and Bing's own free tools only work on sites you control. Paid third-party indexers are the only option for a backlink sitting on somebody else's page. Before you pay for either, check whether the page your link is on deserves to be indexed at all. Often it does not, and no tool will change that.
| If you need... | Start with | Why |
|---|---|---|
| To know whether a won link is still live and dofollow | BacklinkBot (our product) | Weekly re-check of every link it wins |
| To get your own new pages crawled | Google Search Console | Free URL Inspection and indexing requests |
| To push a backlink on someone else's site | Rapid URL Indexer or SpeedyIndex | Pay only for indexed links, credits back otherwise |
How we evaluated: We did not run trial accounts or indexing tests, so there are no indexing rates of ours here. On 2026-10-13 we read each tool's public pricing page and documentation, Google's and IndexNow's official documentation, and recent threads in r/SEO and r/bigseo. Indexing rates quoted below are the vendors' own claims. BacklinkBot is our product and is judged on the same points, including where it does not fit.
Why a backlink indexing service exists at all
Google gives you two ways to ask for indexing, and neither works for a backlink on someone else's site.
- URL Inspection in Search Console lets you request indexing, but "The URL must be in the current property," there is a daily limit, and "Submitting a request does not guarantee that the page will appear in the Google Index," per Google's documentation.
- The Indexing API is no shortcut either. Google says it "can only be used to crawl pages with either JobPosting or BroadcastEvent embedded in a VideoObject" (Google Search Central).
IndexNow has the same ownership catch. You host a key file on the site you submit, so it only works for hosts you control (Bing's IndexNow guide).
Paid indexers exist to fill that gap. None of them documents how it gets Googlebot to visit, so treat any method as unverified.
Timing matters too. At Search Central Live in Barcelona on October 2, 2026, Google's Gary Illyes reportedly showed that refreshing an already-known URL typically takes about 30 days, with a slow end of "weeks to never," per a Search Engine Journal recap. A link added to an old article needs that kind of refresh. Asked how long a new backlink takes to index, one r/SEO regular answered: "Anywhere from right away to never." (u/SEOPub).
The best backlink indexing tools, reviewed
1. BacklinkBot (our product)
BacklinkBot is an SEO agent for link building, not an indexer. It reads your site, pulls the pages already ranking for your keywords and scores each one, with the reasons shown. Then it finds and verifies the person behind the page, drafts a pitch, sends it from your inbox, follows up twice and stops. After that it verifies the link is live and dofollow, and re-checks it weekly. By default you approve every send. Because it targets pages that already rank, the linking page is indexed before you ever pitch it.
Pro is $99/month (4,000 credits, three warmed inboxes) and Growth is $199/month (10,000 credits). There is no free plan and no trial.
It suits founders who would rather earn links on pages Google already shows than pay to index weaker ones.
It does not submit URLs for indexing, so it will not help with links you already have on unindexed pages. It is also a newer product, email-only, and it does not write content or do technical SEO.
Verdict: prevention, not cure. Skip it if all you need is to index existing links.
2. Google Search Console
URL Inspection shows whether a page on your site is indexed and lets you request indexing. It is free.
Every site owner should use it for their own pages, and for any linking site they also run.
It only works for properties you have verified. There is a daily request limit and no guarantee.
Verdict: use it first for anything you own.
3. Bing Webmaster Tools and IndexNow
IndexNow notifies participating search engines when a URL is added or updated, and Bing Webmaster Tools shows whether they received it. Both are free.
It fits site owners who want Bing and other participants to pick up changes quickly.
IndexNow's site lists Microsoft Bing, Naver, Seznam.cz, Yandex and Yep as supporters and does not list Google (indexnow.org). It also needs a key file on the host, so it does not work for backlinks on other people's sites.
Verdict: free and worth wiring into your own site, but not a backlink indexer.
4. Rapid URL Indexer
This cloud service says it helps Google find and crawl submitted pages and backlinks, then tracks whether they get indexed. You don't need Search Console access.
It sells one-time credit packs that never expire: 500 credits for $25, down to $0.04 per credit at 50,000, per rapidurlindexer.com. Standard Mode returns the credit for any URL not indexed after 14 days. Apex Mode costs 3 credits per URL and returns 1 if it fails.
It works for anyone with a batch of backlinks on pages they do not control.
Its "91% average indexing rate" is a vendor claim with no published method, and the same page says Google makes the final decision.
Verdict: the clear refund terms make it the low-risk paid option.
5. SpeedyIndex
It says it sends a mobile Googlebot to your URLs, with no Search Console access needed.
Token packs run from $5 for 5,000 tokens up to $500 for 1,500,000, at 100 tokens per indexed link, per speedyindex.com. Tokens for unindexed links come back after a 7-day report.
It suits bulk users who want the lowest cost per link.
What it guarantees is a Googlebot visit, not indexing, and its own FAQ says any service promising 100% is misleading you. We count that honesty in its favour.
Verdict: the cheapest per link at volume.
6. Omega Indexer
It filters out dead links first, then pushes the rest to Google over a drip-feed of up to 30 days, per omegaindexer.com. There is also an API.
Monthly credit packages start at $19/month for 190 credits, with top-ups at $0.20 per credit. Its homepage says links that do not index are refunded.
It fits users who want a subscription and an API.
The homepage makes no numeric indexing claim, so you are relying on the refund terms. And it is a subscription, not a one-time pack.
Verdict: a fit if you index links every month.
7. IndexMeNow
It submits your URLs several times a day using three combined methods and checks indexing status hourly.
Plans run from Starter at €59 for 60 credits up to Platinum at €1,999 for 4,250 credits, excluding VAT. One credit covers one indexed URL and credits do not expire, per indexmenow.com. URLs not indexed after 10 days are credited back.
It suits agencies with a smaller number of important links.
It is the most expensive per link here, and its homepage gives different figures for the same claim: 80% indexed in 72 hours in one place, 80% in 24 hours in another.
Verdict: costly, but the per-URL credit-back keeps the downside small.

The case against backlink indexers
The strongest argument against this whole category is that an indexer treats the symptom. In an r/SEO thread asking how to get a backlink indexed, one reply put it this way: "backlinks on pages that aren't indexed, don't rank and don't get organic traffic, bring 0 value," adding that if you paid for the link "you should have a guarantee that the page is getting indexed, or else you just wasted your money" (u/SanRobot). Another commenter blamed the metrics used to sell these links: "A backlink salesperson tells the prospect how high the DA or DR is, the prospect buys a post, and it's not even indexed by Google." (u/BusyBusinessPromos).
We mostly agree. If a page can't get indexed on its own, Google has decided it isn't worth showing, and forcing a crawl won't change that judgment. When a buyer of a bulk link package asked whether "all indexed" was even the right metric, the replies said no (r/SEO thread).
What the argument misses is a good link sitting on a page Google hasn't recrawled yet. One r/SEO poster had a followed link from their university faculty page. Bing found it immediately, and Google still hadn't indexed it after 15 days. In that case the free fix came first: "At times to nudge Google to index a link, I might link to the backlink from my website for a time" (u/0_2_Hero). Try that first. Then use a pay-on-success indexer, and only on links you'd want even if Google never counted them.
What to do before you pay for indexing
- Check that the page has organic traffic. If it gets none, indexing it buys you little.
- Wait a few weeks. Refresh crawls of known pages typically take about a month, per the SEJ recap above.
- Link to it from a page you control that is already indexed.
- Then use a pay-per-indexed-link service with a credit-back window.

FAQ
What is the best backlink indexing tool?
For your own pages, start with Google Search Console, which is free. For backlinks on sites you do not control, pay-on-success services like Rapid URL Indexer and SpeedyIndex refund credits for links that do not get indexed. Any indexing rate a vendor quotes is that vendor's own claim.
Do backlink indexers work?
Sometimes. They can get Googlebot to visit a page, but Google still decides whether to index it, and the vendors themselves say indexing is not guaranteed. They work best on decent pages that just have not been recrawled yet, and worst on thin pages Google has chosen to ignore.
Are backlink indexing services safe?
Google does not document or endorse them, and none of them explains its exact method, so the risk is unknown rather than proven either way. Paying only per indexed link at least limits how much money you can lose. Do not treat them as a reason to buy links from low-quality pages.
How long does it take Google to index a new backlink?
Anywhere from hours to never. A new link on an old article only counts once Google recrawls that page. A recap of Google's own figures puts a typical refresh of a known URL at about 30 days, and some pages never get refreshed at all.
Can I use the Google Indexing API for backlinks?
No. Google limits the Indexing API to pages with JobPosting or BroadcastEvent markup, and it only works for sites you own.
Can I request indexing for a page on someone else's site?
Not through Search Console, because URL Inspection only works for URLs in a property you have verified. You can ask the site owner to request indexing, link to the page from one of your own indexed pages, or use a third-party indexer.
Earn links on pages that are already indexed
The cheapest indexing fix is a link from a page Google already ranks. BacklinkBot's SEO agent only pitches pages that already rank for your keywords. It drafts a pitch for each one, sends it from your inbox once you approve, and checks every week that the link is still live and dofollow. Pro is $99/month.
Want these links without the spreadsheet?
For $99 a month, the agent finds and pitches the pages already ranking for your keywords. Or we submit you to 100+ directories by hand, from $99 once. Either way, you approve everything.
