Backlink automation

Automate the research. Keep the yes.

Backlink automation has a bad name because most of it automates the wrong half. The research is safe to hand to software. The placement isn't.

Which parts of link building are safe to automate

Link building has two halves. The first is research: finding pages that rank for your keywords, judging whether each one is worth a link, working out who runs it and getting a correct email address. The second is the agreement, where a real person at another site decides your page belongs on theirs. Backlink automation that works speeds up the first half and leaves the second to people.

That's how BacklinkBot is built. The agent handles prospecting, scoring, contact research, drafting and follow-ups on a schedule. Each pitch is written about the specific page it's going to and waits for your approval before it sends from your own inbox. Once a link goes live, the agent checks it on the page and keeps re-checking it.

It never creates links on its own. That means no profile spam, no comment blasts and no networks of sites built to link to each other. Those are the automations search engines are designed to catch.

What you get

How it actually works.

Prospecting from live SERPs

Give it your keywords and it reads the pages ranking for them now. Those pages already rank for what you sell, which is why a link from one is worth having.

Scoring with the reasons shown

Each opportunity gets a score with the signals behind it shown next to it. You can see why a page was picked and disagree before anyone is contacted.

Contacts found and checked

It looks for the editor, founder or author of the page and checks the address for deliverability before anything is queued.

Drafts and follow-ups

Pitches are written about the page they're going to. Follow-ups go out twice and then stop, so nobody gets chased indefinitely.

Verification after the fact

Won links are fetched back from the live page and re-checked weekly. A link that vanishes or turns nofollow stops counting.

The automation that gets sites penalised

Tools that promise thousands of backlinks on autopilot usually create them on pages nobody reads: auto-generated profiles, forum signatures, comment sections, sites that exist only to host links. Google's spam policies name this kind of link scheme directly. For a while it can look like progress in a backlink count, which is why it keeps selling.

Objections

The things you're already thinking.

Is automated link building safe?

Automating research and drafting is safe, and most link builders already do it with spreadsheets and templates. Automating the placement isn't, because that means creating links on sites without anyone there agreeing to it. BacklinkBot automates the first and leaves the second to people.

What can't backlink automation do?

It can't make your site worth linking to, and it can't make someone say yes. If nothing on your site adds to the page you're pitching, the best automation in the world just sends more polite emails that get ignored.

Can I turn off approval?

Yes. Approval is on by default for every channel. Turn it off once you trust the drafts, and turn it back on whenever you want to read them again.

How is this different from backlink automation software that builds links for you?

Software that builds links for you creates them itself, usually on sites you don't control and nobody visits. BacklinkBot asks real site owners for links and records only the ones they add, so every link it reports is one a person chose to give you.

What do I get for $99 a month?

From the founder

I built this because I was doing it by hand for my own products, and the tedious part was never the writing. It was finding the twenty pages worth writing to, then remembering which ones I'd already asked.

So the agent does the finding and the remembering, and leaves you the part a human is still better at: deciding whether the pitch is any good. If it ever stops doing that well, tell me — the address below is mine and I read it.
