People searching for a backlink generator want links without the slow part. That's a reasonable thing to want, and it's why a whole category of free tools exists. Most of them work by creating your URL on pages that are built automatically: site analysis pages, whois and stats pages, profiles and comment sections. What a typical free backlink generator does
You enter your URL, and the tool submits it to a long list of pages that display information about any domain you type in, or to profile and comment fields that accept a link. Each one creates a page with your link on it. Those pages get generated for every domain on the internet, so they say nothing about yours. Do free backlink generators work?
They create links, but rarely ones that help. The pages they generate exist for every domain, so search engines give them little or no weight. The visible backlink count rises while rankings usually stay put.
Can a backlink generator hurt my site?
