Agentic Outreach
Outreach that is planned and carried out largely by AI agents — software that can research prospects, write personalised messages, and manage follow-ups with minimal human input.
Agentic outreach uses AI agents to run the repetitive parts of a link-building or PR campaign. Instead of a person manually finding prospects, researching each site, drafting an email, and chasing replies, an agent can handle much of that loop: it identifies relevant sites, gathers context about them, writes a tailored pitch, sends it, and schedules follow-ups. The word agentic means the software acts with a degree of autonomy toward a goal rather than waiting for a click at every step. The appeal is scale and consistency — an agent can personalise hundreds of emails without getting tired or sloppy. The risk is the same as any automation: if the personalisation is shallow or the targeting is loose, you just produce spam faster. The best results come from keeping a human in the loop for strategy, approval, and relationship-building, while letting the agent handle research, drafting, and admin. Done thoughtfully, it frees your team to focus on the judgement and creativity that machines still handle poorly.
