AI Link Building
Using AI tools to speed up link building — from finding prospects and analysing backlink data to drafting outreach emails and content.
AI link building is the practice of applying AI to the tasks that make link building slow: prospecting, research, personalisation, and reporting. AI can scan large sets of sites to shortlist relevant link targets, summarise a prospect's recent content so your pitch feels informed, draft first-version outreach emails, and cluster backlink data to spot patterns a person might miss. It doesn't replace the fundamentals — you still need something worth linking to and real relationships with publishers — but it removes hours of manual grind. The main pitfall is treating AI as a spam engine. Generic, mass-produced emails perform worse than ever now that editors receive so many of them. The teams that win use AI to do better research and sharper personalisation at scale, then apply human judgement to targeting and relationship-building. Think of AI as leverage on a sound strategy, not a shortcut around one — the quality of your links still depends on relevance, authority, and genuine value.
