QR Code Generator

The QR Code Generator creates QR codes for websites, text, contact information, and WiFi networks — free, with no expiration.

How to Use It

  1. Select what you want to encode: a URL, plain text, contact information, or WiFi network details.
  2. Fill in the required fields for your selected type (e.g., a valid URL, or a network name and password for WiFi).
  3. Generate your QR code.
  4. Download the generated QR code image to print or use digitally.

When to Use It

  • Print marketing materials — business cards, flyers, or packaging that link to a digital destination.
  • Sharing WiFi access — generate a scannable code for guests instead of writing out a password.
  • Contact sharing — a QR code on a business card or booth signage that saves your contact info directly to a scanner's phone.

What It Doesn't Do

These are static QR codes — the data is encoded directly into the code itself, so if you need to change the destination later (common for print materials you can't easily replace), you'd need a dynamic/trackable QR code service instead, which typically requires a paid subscription.

Where to Go Next

If you're using a QR code to drive traffic to a landing page, our Open Graph Tester helps make sure that page also looks right when shared digitally.
