Privacy Policy — Domain Authority Checker by BacklinkBot
Last updated: 12 July 2026
This policy covers the Domain Authority Checker Chrome extension by BacklinkBot. The general BacklinkBot AI privacy policy is appended below and also applies.
What the extension does
Domain Authority Checker shows a website's Domain Rating (DR). When you click the extension icon, it reads the domain of your active tab. On Google search pages, it reads the domains of the search results.
What data is sent, and to whom
To look up a Domain Rating, the extension sends only the domain name (e.g. "example.com") to the Open PageRank API operated by Keywords Everywhere (https://keywordseverywhere.com). No full URLs, page contents, personal information, cookies, or identifiers are sent. We do not run any analytics or tracking in the extension.
What we store
Nothing is stored on our servers. The only data saved is an optional API key you choose to enter, which is kept locally in your browser via chrome.storage.
What we do NOT do
We do not sell or share your data with third parties. We do not build user profiles, track your browsing history, or use your data for advertising, creditworthiness, or lending.

BacklinkBot AI — General Privacy Policy
This section explains what BacklinkBot AI collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. BacklinkBot AI is operated by AmplifyX Tech (OPC) Pvt. Ltd. (“BacklinkBot”, “we”, “us”), India.
1. Information we collect
- Account data — your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile information Google shares (name, email, profile image).
- Project & tracking data — projects you create, the websites and submission statuses you track, and Domain Rating snapshots.
- Order & intake data — for done-for-you orders, the product details you submit in the intake form (product name, URL, description, logo, contact details and any instructions you provide).
- Product submissions — information you submit to launch a product on our leaderboard (name, URL, tagline, description, logo, maker name).
- Payment data — payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy; we do not store your full card details. We retain order metadata such as the tier, amount, receipt number and payment status.
- Technical data — standard server and usage logs (e.g. IP address, browser type) and cookies needed to keep you signed in.
2. How we use your information
- to provide the service — accounts, the directory database, tracking, launches and done-for-you fulfilment;
- to process payments and deliver your order and report;
- to send transactional email (order, intake and report notifications) and, if you opt in, our newsletter;
- to operate, secure, debug and improve the product;
- to comply with legal obligations.
We rely on performing our contract with you, your consent (for marketing email), and our legitimate interests in running and securing the service as our legal bases for processing.
3. Service providers we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with providers that help us run BacklinkBot:
- Supabase — database, authentication and file storage;
- Vercel — application hosting and infrastructure;
- Lemon Squeezy — payment processing and receipts;
- Resend — transactional email delivery;
- Beehiiv — newsletter (only if you subscribe);
- Google — sign-in, if you choose Google OAuth;
- DataForSEO / Moz — Domain Rating and SEO metrics for websites you track;
- Anthropic — to power the directory “Ask AI” feature.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms, and some may process it outside India. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights and users.
4. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as your theme. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, though parts of the signed-in experience may then stop working.
5. Data retention
We keep your account, project and order data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data except where we must retain records (e.g. order and payment records).
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent to marketing at any time (every newsletter also has an unsubscribe link). To exercise any of these, email amplifyxlabs@gmail.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
7. Children
BacklinkBot is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
