A content site starting at DR 3 is effectively invisible: nothing ranks, so nothing earns links, so nothing ranks. Someone has to break the loop from outside.
What we did
Foundational listings across media, newsletter and startup directories — the exact links Google reads as a signal that a new domain is a real publication rather than a content farm.
The result
Domain Rating quadrupled from 3 to 12 inside a month, on 321 links with the highest dofollow share in our dataset at 87%, and organic traffic grew about fifteenfold from its tiny base.
