The challenge
Health is one of the hardest categories to rank in. Google applies its strictest quality expectations to anything touching wellbeing, and a new domain there starts with very little benefit of the doubt.
What we did
Breadth mattered more than usual, so August.ai went out across the widest relevant set: AI directories, health and wellness listings, and the general startup indexes that feed both. Every submission by hand, because a bot filling in a health directory's form is precisely what gets a listing rejected.
The result
A 43-point Domain Rating gain over 60 days, the largest in our dataset, alongside roughly 2,100 backlinks and a ninefold increase in organic traffic.
